Biosecurity and Pesticide Committee

  • This committee is focussed on biosecurity items, such fire ants in South East Queensland and implementation of the Australian Government Biosecurity Protection Levy, as well as items related to the Australian Pesticides and Veterinary Medicines Authority (APVMA).

  • This committee oversees an industry grant from the Early Needs Recovery Program, part of the $150 million Primary Industry Support Package which is co-funded by the Australian and NSW Governments.
